Liturgical Ministries

Adult Choir

The purpose of the Adult Choir is to assist the congregation in participating at liturgies through song.  Membership is open to all parishioners from high school age on up.  The Adult Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:30PM in the church from September to June.  Contact- Lorrie Coughlin (440)933-3152 ext. 130

Junior Choir

The Junior Choir assists the school and parish congregations at liturgies.  The Choir also shares their gift of music with the residents of nursing homes and participates in local, civic, and diocesan events.  Parish families with students in Grades 3-8 are invited to participate.  Contact- Lorrie Coughlin (440)933-3152 ext. 130

Altar Servers

Altar server positions are open to students in grades 5-8.  Training sessions are available in the fall and spring.   Contact- Lorrie Coughlin (440)933-3152 ext. 130

Eucharistic Adoration

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed in the Sacred Heart Chapel (located on the left side of the hall of the Lake Road entrance to the church) every Tuesday from 8:00Am to 8:00PM.  Additionally, 24 hour Eucharistic Adoration is on the first Friday of each month following the 8:30am mass.  For more details, Contact- Chuck & Barb Yedlick (440)933-8983

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

The Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at all liturgies and bring the Eucharist to housebound parishoners following the 8:30am mass on Fridays.  For more details, Contact- Barbara Krulik (440)933-3152 ext. 109

Greeter/Usher

Greeters/Ushers personally welcome mass attendees, assist with seating, invite parishoners to carry Offertory Gifts to the altar, take up collections, and distribute bulletins.  Contact- Bob & Nancy Sandfry (440)933-9299 

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God in the first two readings of the liturgy and read the petitions at each Mass.  Special training sessions and material are provided.  Contact- Lorrie Coughlin (440)933-3152 ext. 130

Musicians for Liturgies

String, brass, percussion, and woodwind instrumentalists are welcome to enhance the worship experience.  We also invite trained high school, college, and adult vocal and keyboard soloists to share their prepared selections.  Contact- Lorrie Coughlin (440)933-3152 ext. 130
