AVON LAKE, Ohio, Nov. 10, 2010 -- Students at St. Joseph School Avon Lakerecently organized a post-Halloween candy drive to benefit local nonprofits.
Through their candy drive, St. Joseph students donated approximately a couple hundred pounds of candy. The candy gathered will be distributed to Arrupe House at St. Ignatius for their Christmas Party for inner city children, as well as the West Side Catholic Center, the Catholic Charities Family Center in Lorain, and the food pantry at Mary Mother of God in Lorain.
