We are a community-based, K-8 school in Avon Lake, rooted in our Catholic faith. St. Joseph Parish School has a tradition of strong academic programs and a long history 
of outstanding student achievements. As a result of our success, St. Joseph Parish School has been identified as a benchmark school for the Cleveland Diocese.

We, at Saint Joseph Parish School, are committed to the ministry of assisting parents, the first and most important teachers, in encouraging their children, as the hands, voice, and heart of Christ, to develop their gifts and talents. As the hands of Christ in the world, we are committed to serving one another in the school community. As the voice of Christ in the world, we are committed to spreading His message with love to all. As the heart of Christ in the world, we are committed to worshipping Him with open hearts and toteaching others to love and serve Him. Education at St. Joseph Parish School encompasses the spiritual, psychological, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social growth of each student.
Academic Standards
St. Joseph Parish School is accredited in the State of Ohio. Our curriculum meets the Academic Content Standards established by the State of Ohio. All faculty members hold the appropriate teaching license as required by the Ohio Department of Education. St. Joseph Parish School has been recognized as a Benchmark School in the Cleveland Diocese for Using Data to Improve Student Learning.

Labels For Education
Please help us raise money for St. Joseph Parish School by clipping the "Labels for Education" from 
some of your favorite products! Swanson's, Campbell's Soup products, Pepperidge Farm, Pop Secret and V-8 products all have these labels. We don't need the entire label, just the UPC Labels for Education portion. There will be collection boxes in the gathering area and rectory office as well as the school. You may also put labels in the collection basket. Through this program the school is able to raise funds for classroom supplies. Thank you for your participation and support!
