
We are a community-based, K-8 school in Avon Lake, rooted in our Catholic faith. St. Joseph School has a tradition of strong academic programs and a long history of outstanding student achievements. As a result of our success, St. Joseph School has been identified as a benchmark school for the Cleveland Diocese.
We, at Saint Joseph School, are committed to the ministry of assisting parents, the first and most important teachers, in encouraging their children, as the hands, voice, and heart of Christ, to develop their gifts and talents. St. Joseph School is accredited in the State of Ohio. Our curriculum meets the Academic Content Standards established by the State of Ohio. All faculty members hold the appropriate teaching license as required by the Ohio Department of Education. St. Joseph School has been recognized as a Benchmark School in the Cleveland Diocese for Using Data to Improve Student Learning.
