ST. JOSEPH JUNIOR HIGH SERVICE CAMP

WHEN and TIME?
Monday, August 7 through Friday, August 11. Times will vary a little each day due to service site. Plan 8am - 3pm each day.

WHO?
Any Student who will be entering 7th or 8th grade for the 2017-18 School Year.

COST?
$70 per participant (all activities for the week included!)

WHAT?
For the third year in a row, St. Joseph is providing a service week for students entering 7th and 8th grade. Each day the participants will be doing hands-on service and interacting with those in need. Volunteer sites include  Blessed Trinity Parish in Cleveland, Family Ministry Center - Bridge Avenue School, Main Street Care Nursing Home, Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services and others.

WILL WE JUST BE DOING SERVICE?
Throughout the week, the group will take a break from our service activities to have fun socially with one another. The group will be visiting Cleveland hot spots, religious historical locations, downtown tours and other fun activities.

WILL YOU NEED PARENT ASSISTANCE?
We are looking for many parents to help put on this incredible week. If you are interested in any capacity from joining us for a day, picking up supplies, driving a few participants and many other tasks, please contact Brendan Corrigan at 440-653-5618 or Youth@stjosephavonlake.org.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
Registration can be completed online by clicking on the link "REGISTER HERE" below. Within 48 hours of competing the registration online, each participant must write a minimum one paragraph responding to the question "Why do you want to participate in the service week?" Responses can be emailed to Brendan Corrigan at Youth@stjosephavonlake.org. Due to capacity of service sites, there is a maximum of 15 participants for service week.
