2017 St. Joseph Parish School Quest
Thursday, May 25, 2017
Our 8th Annual Walk-a-thon is almost upon us, which means spring is here! This year we are going to combine the fundraiser with Rock the Challenge. Rock the Challenge is more than just an obstacle course. At St. Joseph Parish School, we choose to also make it an Active PrayerTM, an inspired action dedicated to an intention greater than ourselves (www.activprayer.com). This year, we have chosen to dedicate our efforts to pediatric cancer awareness. As students challenge themselves to be the best that they can be, our beloved Walk-a-thon and Rock the Challenge will now be referred to as Quest, as each year we will strive to focus to be our best for His cause, a cause greater than ourselves.
Overall, the money raised from this year’s event will be used to complete the costs of the surveillance/security system in the school office and make improvements to our playground. Along with offering prayers and dedication, St. Joseph Parish School is donating a portion of the proceeds from monies raised to support a family in our community that is battling pediatric cancer.
All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. For donations of $100 or more, your name or your company name can be featured on the Quest t-shirts. Click here to learn more about corporate sponsorship.
As in past years, any donation of $25 or more can be made in memory of a loved one. This year, a special flower memorial will be dedicated at our Quest event. Those students contributing in honor of a loved one will be invited to plant a flower on behalf of their memory. We will gather to remember these individuals during our Quest day with a special prayer. Please share your loved one’s name on the form below as we would like to pray for them by name.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting St. Joseph Parish School and all the wonderful things Catholic education offers.
