Diocese of Cleveland Launches its
First Crowdfunding Event!
On Tuesday, November 29, the Catholic Community Foundation of the Diocese of Cleveland will host its first-ever online day of Catholic Giving in Northeast Ohio. The goal of #weGiveCatholic is to raise the level and public visibility of Catholic philanthropy, and to inspire the Catholic community, to “Give Catholic” on this global day of giving back.
More than 140 schools, parishes, ministries, Catholic Charities sites and programs, and other Catholic nonprofits will be participating in this online fundraising event. Our Parish and School are participating along with many other Catholic elementary schools and high schools. The areas notable Catholic organizations including Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), Society for St. Vincent de Paul, West Side Catholic Center, St. Augustine Health Ministries, John Carroll University, Ursuline College, and Notre Dame College will join in encouraging philanthropy and celebrating generosity worldwide.
From midnight to 11:59 pm on Tuesday, November 29, donations can be made online at weGiveCatholic.. The minimum donation is $10 and there is no maximum. After making a gift online, the donor will immediately receive an automatic email from the Catholic Community Foundation acknowledging their gift.
