Youth @ Mass is celebrated at 5:00pm Mass on the First Sunday of each month. Join us in the pew for prayer or be a Lector, Altar Server, Greeter, or Choir Member!
Service Opportunities are available at least once a month. Join us any second Saturday we venture to Catholic Charities in Lorain to serve a hot meal to the hungry. We meet in St. Joe’s parking lot promptly at 7:45 am to carpool in to Lorain, and are back no later than 10:30am.
Book and Movie Club meet every other week @ noon in the Parish Office. The team picks a book, we read together, and then watch the movie as a group. Movie night is open to anyone whether you have read the book or not! We are currently reading The Hobbit.
Confirmation! Celebrate with us as 70+ of our young people make their Confirmation at 7:00pm Mass on March 21 with Bishop Gries and Father O’Connor!
Pray and Play Lock In happens at least every President’s Day weekend. This year we had 21 youth come together for pizza, then to play Capture you Faith, Dodge ball, and hang out with friends. Movies and board games are also available! If there is interest, we will add a few more of these to the schedule throughout the year.
Bowling Night! – Join us on March 24th for Cosmic Bowling at SPEVOCK'S NAUTICAL LANES 184 Miller Road (440) 933-7008. Your $14.00 fee includes: all you can bowl, bowling shoe rental, pizza, pop, snacks, and Cosmic Bowling. We will carpool from St. Joseph South parking lot at 6:00pm. Parental permission slip is needed. Find blank permission slips on the St. Joseph YM bulletin board in the Gathering Area, or on the web page. Hope to see you there!
Living Stations of the Cross. Youth Ministry & RCIA will lead this year’s Living Stations on March 29th- at 7:00pm. Bring the stations to life as we recall Our Lord’s Passion.
