MARRIAGE

Congratulations on your engagement!
We are excited that we can be a part of your journey as you seek to get married at St. Joseph Parish. To get started, please fill out the Bride and Groom Information forms below. If you have not already done so, please call Phil Lewandowski at 440.653.5638 or email the Parish Office to set up a time to talk with Fr. Ron or Deacon Keith either by phone or in-person. Before a wedding date can be set, the ordained minister has some important questions to ask you. The questions are not difficult, but are necessary before any next steps are taken. We are excited for you, and once again, Congratulations!

Pre-Cana
Pre-Cana is a marriage preparation program designed to help engaged couples reflect on their relationship, faith and what their future may look like as a married couple. It is a time to present God's plan for a Catholic marriage, while offering suggestions as to how to build a union that establishes a Christ-centered, life-long covenant of love.
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
John 2:1-3

We would love to have you join us as you prepare for the sacred journey of marriage. This all-day retreat, held in our parish Social Hall, is designed to support and inspire you as an engaged couple. Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy a mix of guided discussions, meaningful activities, and opportunities for connection with one another and with other couples. This year, we are excited to introduce expert-led breakout stations on essential topics like finances and parish life. We’ll conclude the day together at the 4:30 p.m. Vigil Mass, giving thanks for the gift of love and the promise of marriage. All are welcome, and we look forward to spending this special day with you.
