We are one family in Christ who ENCOUNTERS Jesus,
ACCOMPANIES one another, and fosters COMMUNITY where
generations are awakened, empowered, equipped, and SENT to live
the adventure of their Catholic faith as MISSIONARY DISCIPLES !
Missionary Discipleship
A missionary disciple has been described as someone who has had a transformational encounter with Jesus and has then chosen to surrender and follow. A missionary disciple has encountered Jesus through a personal experience of the love and presence of God. As a result of this encounter, they have chosen to say ‘yes’—to surrender to God's love and God’s will for their life. They allow their entire life to be transformed by this relationship. Here at St. Joseph we encourage the practice of stewardship as a complete lifestyle, a life of total accountability and responsibility acknowledging God as Creator and Owner of all.
Eucharistic Adoration
8 AM - 8 PM in the Sacred Heart Chapel
Falling love with Jesus is one of the most practical things one can do!
We invite you to take time and spend it in front of Jesus in our Sacred Heart Chapel. The chapel is accessible everyday between 8 AM - 8 PM. We also offer Adoration on the First Fridays of the month in the chapel from Friday at 8 AM — Saturday 9 AM.
We need adorers on Tuesdays from 10 – 11am and 11—12 pm, and 2—3 pm. On First Fridays we need at least one person for each time slot. We prefer to have two adorers for all of the late night and early morning time slots. We have many of those available. We need at least one person on First Fridays from 10-11am, 2 –3 pm, and 6-7am. If you are interested in signing up, please contact the parish office.
Please remember: You can visit the Sacred Heart Chapel anytime, even when adoration is not scheduled. Just slide open the tabernacle doors and close them when you leave. The Gathering Area and Chapel are open from 8 AM to 9 PM.
Join us for monthly Family Adoration
We welcome all ages and behaviors to join us for this practice of Adoration on the first Tuesday of every month from 6 - 8 pm in the church.
What is Family Adoration?
This is a new addition to our practice of weekly Adoration. The purpose of a Family Adoration is to welcome whole families and to help children learn to adore Christ present in the Eucharist. Children, as well as all present, can be led through the Adoration by a priest, deacon, or lay persons: woven into the silence of Adoration can be short expressions of adoration said aloud, suggestions for praying silently to Jesus, short Scripture phrases or passages, sometimes a short reflection on a Scripture, or songs leading to silence.
