AVILAS
The Avilas Prayer Group is a dedicated community within our parish that gathers monthly to offer a Holy Hour for vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life. Rooted in the spirituality of St. Teresa of Avila, the group embraces her conviction that "there is but one road which reaches God and that is prayer." By uniting in prayer, both in person and remotely, members support those discerning God's call and those already serving, nurturing a culture of vocations within our Church. This spiritual commitment not only uplifts our clergy and religious but also enriches the faith journey of each participant.
WHEN: 1st WEDNESDAY of each month, both in person and remotely.
We begin by attending the 8:00 a.m. Mass, either in person or livestreamed, then continue in the Sacred Heart Chapel for those attending in person, and by phone and/or computer for those participating remotely.

To receive our monthly prayers either via e-mail or printed out, call Ceci McKay at 440-933-3128 or email her at cecimckay@aol.com.

FLAME OF LOVE
The Flame of Love Prayer Group is part of a global movement inspired by the spiritual diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann, a Hungarian mystic who received messages from the Blessed Virgin Mary in the 1960s. Central to this movement is the "Flame of Love," a grace from Mary's Immaculate Heart intended to "blind Satan" and ignite a renewal of faith and love in the world. Prayer groups, or cenacles, gather regularly to pray the Rosary with the Flame of Love petition, recite the Unity Prayer, and reflect on passages from Kindelmann’s diary, fostering spiritual growth and communal intercession.

These gatherings are not merely devotional meetings but are seen as powerful acts of reparation and evangelization. By uniting in prayer, participants aim to strengthen families, support the clergy, and bring about the conversion of souls. The movement emphasizes living a life of sacrifice, fasting, and deep prayer, aligning with the messages received by Kindelmann. Through these practices, members seek to fulfill Mary's request to spread the Flame of Love, contributing to the spiritual renewal of the Church and the world.
WHEN: 2nd MONDAY of the month @10:00 a.m. (CARPENTER ROOM)
Just bring your rosaries. Information will be provided.

ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST
ROSARY GROUP
The One Family in Christ Rosary Group is a prayerful community devoted to deepening their faith through the recitation of the Holy Rosary. Before beginning the Rosary, the group unites in an opening prayer, offering gratitude to God the Father and the Immaculate Heart of Mary for their blessings, and lifting up intentions for the Holy Father, their bishop and local clergy, families—especially the young—military personnel, government leaders, and the needs of the nation. They also include prayers for peace, special intentions, the intentions of others, and healing from the pandemic. The prayerful gathering concludes with traditional devotions, including the Hail, Holy Queen, the Memorare, the Prayer to St. Michael, and the Memorare to St. Joseph, affirming their trust in the intercession of the saints and the grace of God.
WHEN: MONDAYS, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAYS at 7:25 a.m. before the 8:00 a.m. Mass (SACRED HEART CHAPEL)
PLEASE NOTE: On Tuesdays and Thursdays members join in the Rosary prayed at 7:50 a.m. at Holy Spirit before the 8:30 a.m. Mass. Just join us if interested!

PRO-LIFE ROSARY GROUP
The Pro-Life Rosary Group is a prayerful community dedicated to defending the sanctity of life through the power of the Rosary and intentional intercession. Meeting by conference call each Monday at 7:15 p.m., members pray a different set of Mysteries each week (Joyful the first Monday, Luminous the second Monday, Sorrowful the third Monday, and Glorious the 4th Monday), guided by meditations from Priests for Life, and offer prayers such as the Litany in Response to Abortion or Pro-Life Stations of the Cross during Lent. The group also shares personal intentions, fostering a strong sense of connection and mutual support. Participants are given a headshot sheet so they can recognize and feel closer to fellow members—even from a distance—reflecting the group’s commitment not only to prayer, but also to building a visible and caring spiritual family within and beyond the parish.
WHEN: 7:15 p.m. on MONDAYS (via CONFERENCE CALL)

SEVEN SISTERS APOSTOLATE
The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a worldwide movement of intercessory prayer dedicated to the spiritual support of Catholic priests and bishops. In each group, seven women commit to offering a Holy Hour on a distinct day of the week, ensuring that every day, a specific priest or bishop is lifted in prayer for his sanctity and deeper conformity to Christ. This "holy wasting" of time before the Blessed Sacrament is a generous act of love, inspired by Mary’s hidden fidelity and modeled after her quiet strength at the foot of the Cross. Through this ministry, participants not only strengthen the spiritual lives of their clergy but also deepen their own relationship with Christ and the Church.
WHEN: One hour, one specific day each week.
Call the Parish Office if you are interested in becoming a Seven Sister.
