WHAT:

To most of us, Jesus’ life can seem like a series of unconnected episodes between His birth in Bethlehem and His resurrection in Jerusalem. While we may be familiar with many of the events in between, we often don’t know when or where they occurred, or how they fit together into a logical story.  As modern readers it is difficult to fully understand the significance of New Testament people, places, and events, as well as their timeline.

Each of the four Gospels presents both similar and unique events in Jesus’ ministry. To truly comprehend the flow of His life those events need to be woven into a single record. That is exactly what this small-group Bible study will do. Using the text A Harmony of the Gospels by Robert L. Thomas & Stanley N. Gundry, we will read and discuss Jesus’ life as a comprehensive, chronological narrative.

If you want to expand and deepen your understanding of the life and ministry of Jesus, please join us.  Your confidence in Jesus as the means of our salvation will grow exponentially, and so will your love for Him and devotion.

This will be an “ecumenical group” meaning this group will be led by retired pastor Jim Bzdafka, with assistance by St. Joseph parishioner Dick Pinter. This will offer unique opportunities to learn from each other as Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
